This guide will explain how to get around that restriction by using a Windows 10. computer (the « host ») to run Mac OS X and Xcode on a virtual machine (the « guest ») which will allow us to deploy apps to an iOS device without requiring an actual Mac. Apple brings iOS apps into Mac, but won’t merge platforms. Developers will be able to bring their iPhone and iPad apps to Mac in 2019. Four apps Apple wrote for iOS apps have been adapted to run on MacOS Mojave. “There are millions of iOS apps out there,” Federighi said.
Are the Pages and Numbers apps that I originally bought on iTunes for iPad for $9.99 each transferrable to or able to run on 2011 MacBook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.5? The mac app store wants $19.99 each to download. I thought the new operating system was supposed to run the iPhone and iPad apps. My Mac shows the apps in iCloud drive but only opens them in preview. Any way to run these without paying twice for the same app, also curious what apps other people are using in place of these. I use them mostly for basic lists or to open word/excel docs. Thanks.
